Travel advice for families

I am a mother of three young daughters and I have a travel and airline background. Together with my husband, who handles the technical side, we started Travel with Kids with the aim to provide parents with the most thorough resource of hotel information available when planning their family holiday. Initially the desire to share the information came from the need to help fellow families of five with the difficulties they face when trying to find an affordable hotel option. However the site expanded to help families of all sizes when we realized there was a need.
Most family holidays are long-saved for, both in finances and annual leave, so when the time comes to book the holiday, the choice of where to stay is a very important one. Your experience with the place you stay will affect the whole holiday so we hope to provide parents with every detail they need to make a truly informed choice. On Travel With Kids parents will be able to find out all the little, but important, details such as the type of cot a hotel provides, the depth of the children's pool, the equipment in the playground, the cost of babysitting, whether the room's kettle's lid comes off in order to heat bottles and lots more information for prospective guest families.
